DESCRIPTION
The BY-BM3031 On-Camera Supercardioid Shotgun Microphone from BOYA features a three-level gain switch that provides a +20 dB boost, 0 dB, or a -10 dB pad that helps prevent distortion from audio overload when capturing audio. A high-pass filter at 80 Hz rolls-off unwanted low-frequency noise and rumble, which delivers a richer-sound recording. The 3.5mm output mini-jack connector makes it compatible with DSLRs, camcorders, audio recorders, and other devices as well as to capture broadcast-quality recordings that are clear and precise.
This BY-BM3031 mic is powered by two AA batteries (not included) for up to 120 hours of use and is equipped with a built-in headphone output that allows you to do real-time monitoring of the audio source input. The integrated shockmount is designed to eliminate vibrations when mounted on a camera or a boompole. In addition, the mic includes a foam windscreen and fur windscreen that help to decrease vocal plosives and wind noise when recording dialogs.
